The story of Aladdin

…a rip-roaring adventure with a flying carpet and a magic lamp,that's guaranteed to rub you up the right way!

Adapted and directed by Patrick Sandford, this spectacular, festive Nuffield Theatre Company Production will run from 27 November 2008 to 11 January 2009.

Times are hard at Widow Twankey's laundry…the smalls are getting smaller and the mangle's in a tangle! Then - hooray! - Uncle Abanazer promises riches for all…if young Aladdin will just hand him that rusty old lamp… But Wishee Washee's worried that it won't go well - a laundry boy can sense these things - that smelly Abanazer is a baddy…boo hiss!

Can Aladdin and the Genie of the Lamp save the day? This breathtaking adventure takes them on a thrilling and magical ride - all the way to the Emperor and his oh-so-beautiful daughter the Princess…
