I Confess is a one-to-one performance piece in which you will get to hear real life confessions from a stranger. Set in a confessional booth, performances begin when a performer ushers an audience member through the velvet curtains. Once inside you get to listen to confessions drawn from true stories from the performer as well as from people submitting their stories anonymously from around the world. After listening to several confessions, the audience member is then invited (but not obligated) to share a confession of his/her own with the performer before leaving the booth. Celebrity guests and a revolving line up of performers from across the whole fringe make this a unique experience.

This encounter is about sharing stories, and sharing moments together in the midst of an otherwise busy and public environment. In I Confess, individuals get the chance to stop, and to listen to another's story, something we have little chance to do within our fast paced lives.
