PANPHOBIA was written by Ceri Ashcroft and Miranda Keeling and devised with and for the Universal Citizens Ltd.

Little Rosie lives with her dad at the bottom of a tall, tall tower block. One day, he asks her to take some soup and supplies to her sick aunt on the top floor, but half way up the tower block there is a power cut…
Surrounded by eccentric, disarming and sometimes frightening inhabitants, this often comic darkly twisted tale sees Rosie battle to turn the power on and shine a light on the monsters in her life. But overcoming fear is no small task, especially when the darkness can turn the world against you.

How well do you know your neighbours and can you see the truth in the dark?

Panphobia is a site influenced performance, based on the fairy tale 'Little Red Riding Hood'. The play draws inspiration from the concepts of fear and phobias and reflects urban societal fears and communal worries. The piece also studies the personal relationships that are created by a transient big city environment.
