The IVES (International Venue and Event Standard) Project is dedicated to the development and promotion of a standard suite of XML specifications and Venue identification tools, designed to ease the automation and exchange of event and venue data.

remotegoat has been involved with IVES from the start and is keen to assist organisation in the adoption of this new standard.

To this end, remotegoat links all venues back to IVES, and can output our information in IVES format for those publishers who are interested in sharing event and venue information.

The remotegoat system will also accept IVES data, allow venue's and publishers to automate their event listings on the remotegoat system.
