ODYSSEY is the Landmark Millennium Project for Northern Ireland and is now open to the public in the five aspects of its component parts:

The Pavilion

The Car Park

The entire scheme is owned by the Odyssey Trust Company Ltd (OTC) which has Charitable Status. The 23 acre site is held under a Head Lease from Belfast Harbour Commissioners. Odyssey was developed and built by OTC through over 83% of public funding from the Millennium Commission, the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure, the Laganside Development Corporation and the Sports Council for Northern Ireland. The Arena and W5 were constructed using this public money. The Pavilion and Imax were constructed from private sector funding from Sheridan Millennium Ltd who are also OTC’s tenants in these two areas. To date, all aspects of Odyssey have enjoyed excellent success.

The primary objective of OTC is to Establish, Hold and Manage the investment in the Odyssey Project for the benefit of the people of Northern Ireland.
